"Singing and Dancing with Brush and Ink: The Art of Wesley Tongson" Featured in RTHK

Wesley Tongson's solo exhibition Singing and Dancing with Brush and Ink: The Art of Wesley Tongson at Asia Society Hong Kong is featured in the new episode of RTHK's Vibrant Hong Kong.

In the new episode of RTHK's Vibrant Hong Kong, Chris Wan, Head of Gallery and Exhibitions at Asia Society Hong Kong Center, highlights the Centre's cultural work, introduces its current contemporary ink exhibition, and previews upcoming programmes. Curators Yi Yi Mon (Rosaline) Kyo and Julia M. White then lead an in-gallery walkthrough of Singing and Dancing with Brush and Ink: The Art of Wesley Tongson, tracing Tongson's development from early material experiments to his final ink landscape series, Spiritual Mountains. They also reflect on how Tongson's creative experimentation became a vital outlet-shaped by his spirituality, as well as his experiences with mental health and questions of gender identity.
