Singing and Dancing with Brush and Ink: The Art of Wesley Tongson is published by Asia Society Hong Kong as a bilingual catalog on the occasion of the artist’s exhibition at the institution.
This comprehensive volume features color reproductions of every artwork on display, alongside five scholarly essays that examine Wesley Tongson's experimental practice, his engagement with spiritual philosophies, and his innovative approaches to ink painting.
The catalogue essays are contributed by exhibition curators, Yi Yi Mon (Rosaline) Kyo and Julia M. White, curator and art advisor, Catherine Maudsley, art historian, writer and SCAD professor, Keyu Yan, and art historian and Assistant Professor at University of Macau, Yiqing Li.
