Ciwas Tahos 林安琪 Taiwan, b. 1989

Ciwas Tahos, also known as Anchi Lin (she/they), is a Taiwanese visual artist of Atayal and Hō‑ló descent. She is the recipient of the 2026/2027 DAAD Visual Arts Fellowship and is based in Berlin as an artist in residence, with a studio at Künstlerhaus Bethanien.

Her body‑centered practice addresses postcolonial, gender, environmental, and technological questions through an Atayal worldview. By weaving performance, moving and still image, cyberspace, ceramic sound sculpture, and kinetic installation, Ciwas disrupts, queers, questions, retells, and reimagines contemporary conditions and possible futures.
