劉聲「面地」: gdm Taipei

Bent Backs brings together recent paintings by Liu Sheng that explore the relationship between the body, labor, and contemporary society. Drawing from everyday observations and engagement with fellow villagers, the artist depicts figures whose postures bear the marks of work, repetition, and survival. Bent, burdened, or suspended in motion, these bodies reveal how larger social and economic systems are experienced at a human scale. The body becomes a repository of lived experience, carrying the imprint of personal histories while reflecting broader conditions of class, precarity, and human dignity.
