Tang Kwong San x Yuen Nga Chi

Framed as a speculative “landing mission” through the figure of an astronaut, the project uses lunar tides to probe an unfamiliar Hong Kong. Moving between the stark edges of Tung Ping Chau and crowded shorelines, the artists photograph, film, and collect abandoned objects; these traces—intercut with birds and the moon—conjure an otherworldly visual space before the “astronaut” lifts off with the turning tide.
