Galerie du Monde is pleased to host a special artist guided tour on 27 March at 10am with Zheng Chongbin as part of Art Basel Hong Kong's VIP Program.
We invite viewers to join us on a journey to experience Zheng's new light space installation "Immeasurable Things - Life flow within and without you" at gdm Hong Kong.
“Immeasurable Things – Life flows within and without you” (2024) is a monumental light space installation created with layered video projection, aluminum, scrim, screen, vinyl sheet, mirror and glass. The installation showcases an intertwined and destabilized space, where the boundaries between human, technology and environment blur. Time is stretched, erasing the distinctions between past, present and future – they coexist as one.
Zheng Chongbin is a facilitator. Through the activation of light, air, space, movement and time – Zheng creates an embodied experience for his viewers to perceive ‘the self’ in motion, to understand the fluidity of life, exploring the immeasurable dimensions of human existence.
