Zheng Chongbin's commission project "With or Without Edge" is on view at the Museum für Ostasiatische Kunst Köln (Museum of East Asian Art in Cologne, Germany).
This permanent, light and space installation is the first-ever public art project funded by the city government of Cologne.
“With or Without Edge” mirrors its surrounding environment while also allowing the viewer to see through its multilayered surfaces, reflecting its own geometric lines, also through imagery and highlight the spatial relationships. The colors shift depending on the perceived angle, interacting with movement and the conditions of light, changing phenomenon on the site.
