Earlier this summer, Roland Biermann's Stations 3 has been shortlisted for Liverpool Sculpture Prize 2024, where Biermann was one of the finalists. Stations 3 is part of Biermann’s Stations series of sculptures, which are all made of recycled oil barrels and highway guard rails. Other works from this series have previously been shown in iconic landmark venues, such as the Barbican, London, Trinity Wall Street, New York and de Hoftuin / Hermitage Museum, Amsterdam.
