"Closer Together"

Galerie du Monde is delighted to share artist Tang Kwong San is featured in the exhibition "Closer Together" at RMIT University, Melbourne. The exhibition celebrates the 25 years of partnership between RMIT and the Hong Kong Art School, whose cooperation and mutual dedication to fine art have cultivated an international community and inspired new ways of thinking and making. This exhibition showcases 15 artists from this community to honour the intimate connections and ground-breaking exchanges that have been fostered in this partnership.
The works in this exhibition are material, but they are also a physical manifestation of interrelated experiences, cultures and ideas. They are a snapshot of a creative community that has been built on principles of trust, care and optimism. By showing us how we are connected, "Closer Together" reminds us that we are not alone.
Artists include Kay Mei Ling Beadman, Movana Chen, Ryan Christopher Cheng, Kris Coad, Carolyn Eskdale, Daphne Alexis Ho, Jaffa Lam, Ivy MA King Chu, Sally Mannall, Drew Pettifer, Kate Siu Man Kit, Scotty So, Tang Kwong San, Fiona Wong Lai Ching and June Wong.
