HKT x WESTK POPFEST: M+ Live Cinema presents “Dragon’s Delusion – Paracusia”

Galerie du Monde is thrilled to share artist Kongkee is commissoned by M+ Museum, presenting "Dragon's Delusion—Paracusia". It will feature the works of Kongkee and an eclectic live improvisational performance by the Freespace Ensemble. This performance will bring together Kongkee’s motion comics, gifs, live drawing, and remixed animation backed by a musical ensemble of electric guitar, synthesizers, clarinet, Guzheng, and percussion. From reimagining traditional Chinese instruments to thumping post-punk beats, this eclectic mix of musical talent is an exciting take on Kongkee’s sci-fi fantasy at M+’s Grand Stair. The show will conclude with a live drawing session by Kongkee.
