As part of the “New Horizons: Ways of Seeing Hong Kong Art in the 80s and 90s” exhibition program at the Hong Kong Museum of Art, curator Janet Fong is hosting The Art Talk Series this May. The program aims to arouse public interest in the culture and art history of Hong Kong and facilitate discussions between different art sectors.
Lam Tung Pang will be joining Kurt Chan in the panel “Art Learning in the 1990s, Concurrent Discussion on “Chan’s Domestic Aesthetics” on 28 May 2022. Lam Tung Pang, together with artists Chow Chun Fai and Pak Sheung Chuen, as Kurt Chan’s students, will share insights on their experience studying experimental and conceptual art in Hong Kong in the 1990s.
