Para Site will host an online curatorial panel with the six curators of "Curtain": Cosmin Costinas, Larys Frogier, Celia Ho, Anqi Li, Billy Tang, and Xu Tiantian. A continuation of the fruitful collaboration between Para Site and Rockbund Art Museum that started with "An Opera for Animals" in 2019, "Curtain" is conceived as a framework to disrupt the current habits of consuming visual culture. In this panel, the six curators will discuss the various themes explored in the exhibition, from the curtain as a domestic object, its scenographic functions, to its adaptations as electronic screens.
Guided Tours
Para Site will host guided tours of "Curtain" at Para Site and Soho House on the weekends throughout the exhibition period. The tours are free and open to the public; no registration required. Below are the scheduled tours:
